Error 404
An error screen. My favourite kind.
A stale link or a mistyped address, and the page you’re after doesn’t exist. It’s the kind of screen people skip, and it’s the one I like working on. The projects, though, are all still here.
The workshop
Design this screen.
Since you’re here, make the three decisions for me. The error screen changes each time. These are the questions you actually ask yourself when you design one.
The message
The way out
The backdrop
An error screen. My favourite kind.
Back to projects
Every button redraws the screen on the right.
Three decisions, three trade-offs. Mine is the one you had in front of you when you arrived.
